Hi, I'm Nissa!
With eight years of experience as an LPN and witnessing the need for more healthcare services in Northwest BC, I decided to become self-employed and open a private home care business. Despite not knowing much about starting or running a business, I took the leap and faced many uncertainties. After obtaining a Bookkeeping for Small Business certificate and becoming a Certified Bookkeeper, I realized I wasn't alone in experiencing these challenges. So, I established Backroad Bookkeeping to help small businesses find answers to their questions and manage their financials, giving them time to focus on what they love.
